The first photo on the left shows what our photo library looks like. We upload the photos there once they've been meta tagged on LightRoom Classic.
The second picture on the left shows what information is added on each picture after being meta tagged. It includes people in the photo, the teams, date, location, arena, and the name of the photographer. The process is tedious, yet necessary for seamless photo access.
Other aspects of the internship included: Assisting in all facets of the public relations department’s operations, scorer’s table, press box, and media room setup and teardown, photo meta tagging, distribution of media credentials, assisting PR staff in the press box, assisting with the distribution of community program/event materials, and wherever else they needed my assistance.
The experience showed me what game days look like from a front office perspective, and excited me as I continue my path into the professional sports media industry.
